The Variety Arts Theatre located on 940 S Figeroa St. which opened originally on May 5, 1924 as the Friday Morning Club applied for the on-site sale and dispensing of a full line of alcoholic beverages with live entertainment, public dancing and restaurant service in four venues.
Space 1 is a basement bar with a potential occupancy of 80 patrons, a ground floor theater with a lobby bar and potential occupancy of 1,229 patrons and a mezzanine with a bar and potential occupancy of 347 patrons.
Space 2 is on the second floor for a potential restaurant/bar with a potential occupancy of 296 patrons.
Space 3 is a third floor potential restaurant/bar on the lower floor and on the mezzanine with a potential occupancy of 296 patrons.
Space 4 is a potential restaurant/bar on the fourth floor with a potential occupancy of 1,364 patrons.
The fifth floor is creative office space with the potential of leasing the VIP lounge for the use of the 4th floor tenants with a potential occupancy of 95 patrons.
